Finished will run real close to $750 with hardening and grinding, material, shipping and machine labor. No gear to drive oil pump

Two things:

(1) Why bother with the needle brgs? it is cheaper to make it with standard sleeve brgs and frictional coefficient is a wash.

(2) No Oil pump drive? Stock and stock appearing has to have an internal oil pump and on gas a distributor that is driven off the oil pump.

Try to turn it 5000 to 6000rpm and stay togather. A stock ignition is not accurate enough for the kind of performance needed. Crank trigger is. Stock oil pump, you might as well buy a pile of spare parts cause you'll need em. Cam breakin ollies need all the help they can get.
