Anyone done a remake on a school bus for a hauler-RV combo. I would like idea's on doing that to my 90 model IHC bus. I just want to do it once & not have to redo it. Also will a 8000lb tractor be too much right behind the rear axle? Is their any web sights to get ideas for the RV part?

Hey you better make it comfortable. You might have to sell the farm to be competative with me. I would get good heat and air in it the winters can get pretty cold it would make for long nights on the side of the road. Ha Ha

You remember that smoking van might need a conversion too. It could run out of oil & leave you along the road. OH!!! I forgot you can't convert it because of that big oil tank in the back. If I see you along the road I will honk & call for help for you! If things work out I will see you saturday.

Don;
We had one for a while and the problem with it was that you could not put much weight behind the rear axle. If you are thinking about one, I might suggest putting a tag axle on the back end to take some of the flex out of the frame.

fyi

Yea, RoadWay drivers called them " Peg-Legs".!!!

If set up with air, you could adjust the weight on the steering axle.. You may need to have a couple leaves added to the springs...and a heavy "Sway Bar", to take the "lean" out of it...

Thanks guys! I though about that. The main reason was to have a hauler camper & call it a RV. Go with out draging another car along & No motel bills.
