Cockshutt 30 does real nice in this class. Tall rubber and good gears. Fewer factory mods to be had to this 153 Buda, but you have to do your homework as to what else will work.

I like the Farmall H or Massey 101. My son pulls an H against a 101 jr. both are hard to beat.

Got to say, I've seen AC "C"'s do very well around in east central Mo. That seems to be the preference here. However, friend of mine has a hot Oliver 60 that has out pulled the competition by 70 feet, yes I wrote 70'. This no kinding happened last year at Montgomery City. Obviously that tractor lugged that track and pissed alot of the Deere guys of. Like we all know, everybody has there days. Sometime you run good at one place the next your battling for the last spot.

If I had to guess, it would be some 206 ci based MOLINE engine up in St Johns.....but it might be a farmall H too, if I get a second job...lol....

Saw an Allis Chalmers WC with the 201 engine, the steel rearend and a two speed rear end that never lost at that weight in Nebraska, real good power to weight ratio.
