Got my HOOK Magazine in the mail yesterday and looked at the schedule for the Winter pulling season. What happened to all the pulls that NATPA used to have in Nebraska? No NATPA pull in Kearny, No NATPA pull in Ogallala, No NATPA pull in Lincoln. Good thing they picked up a pull in Missouri as they wouldn't have any to the West other than Wichita Kansas. Do they still have a pull in Sterling Colorado or did they get the boot there too? Did the Nebraska folks get tired of the $25.00 hook fee? Or was it watching the same tractor pull three and four times down the track so they could get enough hooks to warrant having a pull? Or was it the brand favoritism that people just got sick of. Or was it just a little of all of the above?? I can remember the days when they had pulls that lasted all day and sometimes into the night running two sleds and no tractor was allowed to pull more than twice. Only future that does look positive for NATPA is the Division two classes as at least they do draw some numbers yet. Hope they don't screw that division up too! Now that the big wheels have gotten there way and ruined the association I see some of there tractors are for sale in the HOOK. A guy ought to really be proud of that. I guess it's just no fun to have to pull against just the same few at each event anymore. They can Thank themselves for that one!

There used to be a decent two day pull in Murray KY that broke up some of these cold days held by the NATPA.Kinda miss them not having one there anymore, don't know what the circumstances were for discontinuing that one.

Lincoln, NE was in December, Ogallala, NE was in December, Sterling, CO is in Feb...yes pulls have been lost, new pulls come; Dekalb, OH Super Pull lost their building (due to expenses), will you blame NATPA for the rising costs of their building in Ohio, too? Sounds like you got spanked somewhere by a BIG BEAR! IT'S FOR SALE, BUY IT ("if you can't beat 'em, join 'em)...HAHAHA
