I am looking at buying an 88 puller with an 1800 engine. The engine has been bored and stroked to 470 cubic inches. This engine has the 12 port head. What is this tractor worth? It has wheelie bars and weight brackets, but no weights go with it. This tractor is located in the Midwest. What clubs can I pull it with. The owner tells me that it is USAP and NATPA Div 5 legal, is that right? Let me know what I should be paying for this machine. What weight classes would it pull good in?

Thanks

TF

What you have there is a real tractor. Not one of them whippy Gingerich exploding tractors. You could pull that tractor for years without having any problems. It would also have more power than any 9 port head motor.
Sound like a real NATPA Div 5 tractor. It would also be legal in all of the USAP classes. The exploding Gingerich motors alone are over $10,000. Vaseline extra.

What do you pull? pedal tractors,or maybe something called pudd. That vaseline sounds good now huh.why cant wack jobs like you keep you're wise comments to your self.Just so you don't whine any more I don't have Gingerich Motor, I built my engine myself.

P.S. To ART W I enjoyed pulling against you at Junius Ponds in Div III, That first I took in 6000 was well earned. I hope to pull against you again soon.

Gingerich has built a number of 12 port head motors and they do make alot of power. At 470 cubic you will be giving up cubes to the 541 and larger 1800 motors that Gingerich has built. He may have built the one you are looking at, I would ask cause if he he did it should be a good one. aRt

We all know Art loves Gingerich. Well untill he sells his exploding 88 that Gingerich built for him. Don't you wish you kept that money in the bank Art?

Oh well whatever, I'll be pulling at Dekalb in March with the 88. Maybe you can introduce yourself and tell me what I need to know about pulling. I'm sure it won't be hard to pick you out, how many 78931js's can there be?
