Anyone out there ever pulled an MM 445? I just bought one and was hoping to pull it at 4000lbs., maybe even 5000lbs., stock. It has an adjustable wide front, spin out rears. I pull a ZB now (all of two pulls so far) and it seems to do well, but would a 445 do better? It might have better gearing. Also, I'm not interested in modifying this tractor as all of the tractor pulling in my area is STOCK; I do well with gearing and balance.

I live in Oregon where weight classes are usually 1000lb. increments (3000, 4000, 5000, etc.).

This is a excelent tractor to pull. With the gear selection you can easly pull 4000-8000. Ours was parked for 20 yrs. after a accident killed the driver when it overturned. When we got it it was stuck. After soaking the pistons for a month we got it free. We've pulled it ever since without ever having the engine apart. It does well in all classes. We're going to the Dekalb Super pull in Mar. at Columbus Oh. & plan on pulling the 4500,& 5500 Div. 2 classes.[they limit the times you can pull or we would pull it in the 6500 & 7500 class] It's painted Bumble-Bee yellow with a black base. Lot's of fun since we don't have much invested. Anyway, with a gear for any track, you should do well.
