Im looking to move my fuel tank from the big tank under the hood, to a smaller tank maybe like 5 Gallons. I have seen quite a few Gs in the hook with the relocated tank out front on the weight bracket... do you need a fuel pump in this case?

Also, I want to instal a technical system to keep an eye on Engine Temp, RPMs,... oil pressure. What system, or guage system do you guys run, and how hard is it to instal.

Thanks

You have to run a fuel pump because the carb is higher than the tank.

get a universal electric fuel pump from NAPA it pumps between 6 & 7 lbs of pressure and will not hurt your float valve you have to pump over 10lbs of pressure to do that.

So it pumps that constant all the time? So does the tractor take the same amount of fuel all the time... idle vs WOT (Going down the track)... or is there a link between the throttle and the pump.

The float and needle still stop fuel flow, the pumps are likely diaphram pumps that can generate 6-7 lbs of fuel pressure; the float will be able to stop fuel flow into the bowl at that level.
