We built a 560 Standard to pull with. We put 18*4*34 tires on like a 660. It pulled real good in 1st gear torque in high, in the 8500lb. Keep the front end down. We pulled off of the stock "U" shaped hitch. Beat alot of the big Deeres. It seemed to get a real good bite. E-mail me for some more info if you want.

I don't know about the 660, but I pull with a guy that has a 650. They should be about the same. That 650 is tough to beat in the 10500 class.

A 650 only a 4 cylinder diesel when the is available as a 6 cylinder gas, diesel, or LP version. Plus, the 650's didn't have the torque amplifier on them. I believe that a 660 gas, or diesel would make a great puller in the heavy weights, 8500 and up. I have heard that they have pretty good size bull gears in the rear end to hold the pressure. Good Luck!!
