Does anyone know how much HP. & Torque you gain when you use M&W pistons over flat tops? Same Bore

mike from some old m&w power specifications papers the 77 with SP-82 pistons the bore goes from 3 5/16 to 3 9/16..compression goes from 6.8 to 7.3..hp from 37.2 to 47.0 cubic inches 194 to 224..lynn

Mike I witnessed one that dynoed 54HP, the person claimed to have M&W's in their. I have never personally seen a set of M&W's for the Oliver but I have some for other brands of tractor's. I'm not
real impressed with their quality. Their a crudely
casted piston with so so at best machine tolerances. Their horsepower gains are attributed to their compression ratio increases.
