My question is what Div 4 rules are they going to be running. Last years Dekalb at National Rules, Last summer was OSATPA"s 3 Plus Rules, & now they have something totally different. Just wondering what to plan on so I know what tires I could run.

The way I read it, it's 5 mph with any cut tire (18.4x38 or smaller). My question is, if there's an rpm limit of 2500, why do I have to take my steel fan off?

I personally hope they run the new rules. Pulling is more about the engineering than anything else and what better way to feed that need than to open it up but still leave a conservative speed limit on it? I can't wait to see a turbo Oliver 88 diesel run against a big cube M or a JD G or even dare I say a Kubota? I give kudos to the COATPA people for trying something new. I don't think that the newer tractors will dominate but the biggest issue that I see is that the WD45 Diesel will probably dominate the light class.

I called good old Joe and sure enough he was NO help, he told me I had to talk to Tyre Lathem which he isn't even pulling with COATPA anymore. I should of know noone would give a straight awnser since it has to do with an antique class, compaired to if it was any of the others. So I quess they will have to call it the Mystery Div.

lathem still pulls antiques doesn't he. i wonder if the rest of the div 4 tractors will pull against turbos or try to drop to div 3.
