If the spring he has is the stock big loop, stock stye, no,, they are not the same as what I have. You need to make the sring tension tighter,or stiffer. Your looking to increase governor responce time, from when you pull back the throttle, and the time it takes for the governor to respond and control the carburator. Usually, on a governor that still has a stock spring in them,, when the engine has a hard pull set on it, and begins to power stall the engine, the governor weights, overcome the spring tension quicker,, and shuts the carb down prematurely. Makes the engine stall out faster. Lazy throttle responce is from a stock spring, hard to get rpms and then it will stretch the stock spring. A good spring, and it will wake it up a bit,, when you speed the governor responce time up,, you better be ready to rebuild your carb, cause you are changing the engines running characteristics that what it was originally designed for. His super H, also has the updated cam, and cyl head so he mite have a bit more over a Stock H, (if that is what you got) If its competition your looking for, start reading the rules,, and see what you can use for parts. Cams, and heads from the SH-350 will wake up an old H. Hope this helps,, Chad
