Dynoed a few tractors today there all stock Super H, 28Hp, 1952 JD B 15Hp, Farmall 200 24Hp, 666,gas 65Hp, 1066, 102 HP, The 1066 is a little weak anything I can do to get a little more HP out of it? Also the governor is not working right it will rev well past 2400rpm's, The engine was rebuilt has about 2000 hrs on it.

Mike, a couple things come to mind on the 1066. Did the engine produce any black smoke when it was pulled down? If it did, it might be a dirty air cleaner. Make sure to check the inner one also. The governor in the pump may be worn out is why the engine is over reving. It also may cause HP to be down. Were the pump and injectors worked on when the engine was OH'd? The injectors alone could cause the engine to be down 15 to 25 horse. Good luck!

It had a little black smoke, but the filters are new and the fuel filters also. The pump and injectors never been touched. The 1066 has about 5700 hour's on it. We use to have another 1066 that had the same governor problem but that 1066 would smoke I mean smoke so much the farmer down the road thought there was a car or house on fire but that 1066 had power!!! never dynoed it, I didnt have a dyno then. That engine was original we sold it it had about 4000+ hours on it.

Is the dyno in good shape and properly calibrated? Several of those numbers look low, including the 1066. A late-styled "B" on gasoline should have closer to 30 horsepower than 15. The Super "H" should be closer to 35, etc. If the dyno is off by a certain percentage, you're going to get bigger and bigger errors as you test higher-horsepower tractors.

The dyno is in good shape it a P-2000 M&W I just had the Hp gauge rebuilt and calibrated. The JD B and the Super H could use rebuilds. The 666 gas at 65 sounds right I dynoed a stock 1952 JD G cast pistons that just had new rings and 551 head had 40 Hp.

i have seen this from bad fuel filters, but only once.
sounds like you need a pump rebuild,or just a re-man.
