I pull two 560 gas and am ready to pull a 560 diesel in two weeks. We just pulled for the first time this season on saturday in eastern Washington and took one of the gas. Pulled it at 7,8,and9000lbs and came in second twice and third once . The tractors that beat me were 560 diesel turbocharged and a 460 diesel more than a little stock modified. My other 560 gas is down to 6000 lbs but I need a shorter bar on the 16.9 armstrong tires so I can jump up to third gear. The 560 gas tractors are really coming on strong in this area the last few years. They are a nice tractor to haul and pull in my opinion plus I think one of Farmalls better color schemes. I also pull a 460 Diesel turbocharged and turning some pretty good power and rpm.s Migraine

Migraine, thanks for the followup, I pull in ohio and have a 52 m i pull, does pretty good. took it to fla and got a third. we run antique classes, 3 mph, but have other classes also. just got the 560 and really like it, has rebiult eng and ta and 15.5 38. needs a paint job but for 2500.00 think i got a good deal, will start stripping the 3 pt off it and get it weigh. seems to be heavy tractor. you are doing real good with your tractors, and appreciate your answer.what is lowest weight you can get the 560 down too?. thanks its a gas tractor forgot to say.

I used to pulll a 560 gas with a 360 down draft carb motor in the 5000 Lb, class easy enough I think it would take a lot to get to the 4500 lb.
