Ive got a good one for ya! A customer went and bought a 450 gas head, belived to be reconditioned,, sure was painted up really nice,, paid like 500 for the bare casting,, I took one look at it, and seen it had been welded in 2 chambers! Then, sent the head off to be built, after an hour of discussing if it will hold,, the seller convinced us,,, OK! So, off to the machine shop to be assembled,, stripped the paint off, and it was welded even more!!! And had Bondo to cover up the welds!!! BONDO!!!!! Well, needless to say, its a boat anchor in my opinion,, Sure hope he kept the reciept, cause it may not work at all! Some cracks and welds is ok, cause its a common repair in these old tractors,,, but you find one that has like 3 or 4 spots in it,, Id pass,,,, Chad
