Jr's are about 429ci, ours is 400 and change. Ours makes over 120@1750 and goes up from there.Just remember, big cubes that aren't able to breath won't make much power.

And 400ci Allis still isn't enough!! The WC's usually have "bearprints" on them from little Ford's!!

What kind of power are they making? I know what 440 Farmall motors make..are these close? It can't be that hard to get to, because you can be at 4.5 + .030 bore with little work. Is it hard to fit the stroke in?..AC

The bore isn't going to get you to 425, you need the stroke and the ac block is smaller than the farmall block and the top of the block is weeker than the farmall and must be beef up.Take 4.5 + .030 and do the math to see how long of a crank must be made.

well, I was figuring on 6.25 to 6.50 stroke length, but if they are that much thinner on top than a Farmall, them maybe I should just look at something else..or go with 4.50 + .030 X 6".....by the way, who am talking to?
