What kind of rpm's and HP can I expect from a 88 engine?
Engine has 3 15/16 M&W pistons, ported, polished, big valves, balanced, attempted to build a good solid reliable engine. Just curious as to what the experineced pullers can turn in terms of rpm's and HP. Engine is brand new and have not hooked it yet.

If those valves are oversize & therefore heavier with just stock springs..... .. stock redline will be getting close to valvetrain float. If the cam ramps are a ground steeper/higher than more valve spring pressure is vital.

Have you stroked it? If not, you've got a nice Div. II project.

You are only allowed 1925 RPMS for Division 2 and 3 in the NATPA. Where did you buy 3 15/16 M&W pistons?
