How to get the weight out of an MM 445

I'm planning on pulling an MM 445 this spring. Ideally I would like to pull it at 4000lbs. Anybody got any suggestions on how to get the weight out of it? The tires are loaded right now (13.6-38's) on spin out rims with pressed centers, and it has a wide front axle. There is no 3pt, but the hydraulic pump and reservoir are there. It also has no fenders, no power steering, but does have a pto. Got any ideas?

Did you remove the hydraulic pump and reservoir? I was looking through the parts book and noticed that there wasn't a "bare" cover for tractors with no options. Did you have to make a custom cover?

The cover under the seat goes the full way after you pull the hyd. off.It takes about 15min to remove and at least 2 people to left it off.You will have 2or3 hols about 1/2" to cover 2seat post to make.Real ease to do.A peace of 4"by4" angle bolted to old hyd. holes with gasket under it will seal holes & give you a weight bragket.

First do you know what it weighs now? I would think unloading the tires would probably help you lose 800 lb.? I did the opposite for my tractor put fluid in one (it already had fluid in the other) 11x28 and gained about 300 lb.
If you aren't gonna use it for anything but pulling coul probably lose another few hundred by taking out the PTO and hydraulic equipt.

You should come on out to some of the NWTPA pulls this year. We're having one in Canby in late March early April (I'll post the final info here when I know it). One in early June in Banks, July 21st Columbia County Fair in St. Helens. There will probably be two more.

See ya around some pulls this yr.
