Anybody out there ever pull at Fryeburg, Maine? What's up with that sled anyway? It seems that when the weight box comes all the way to the front, the whole deck drops and almost stops you instantly instead of a gradual stop. Makes the tractor really rear up no matter how much weight you have on the front. Somebody said that sled weighed about 36,000 lbs. It felt like you were hitched to a tree.

No, I don't care for that sled at all. Last year I saw 5 or 6 tractors in one of the heavy weight classes all stopped at about the same spot. It was a real sudden stop as if the sled brakes had locked up. It was a case of who had enough torque left to yank it another few inches without flopping their tractor over backwards.
