Bought one last week.Has 5.9 Cummins in it.Makes very little power under 1900 rpm.Has 24 ft.aluminum box on it,plus a small stand-up sleeper.Planning on using it for a tractor hauler once I get a hydralic ramp built for the back.Is there anything I can do to the pump(without pulling it off) to make it have a little more grunt under 1900 rpm? With the Fuller 6 speed, every time I shift up a gear,I am under the rpm range where it makes any power.Any thoughts or suggestions? Thanks in advance. Marty

1st of all you bought the wrong combo. That 5.9 doesn"t have enough poop to power a pickup much less a real truck. We"ve got 2 FL 70"s with 8.3"s, one, pre-computer, installed a TST torque plate, boosted the torque 50%, now that works with about 1000# of torque. The other is a 24 valve computer pump and it"s pretty good. Look up www.TSTPRODUCTS.com, it works and is easy to install and cheap too, it will make a world of difference in your 5.9 too, Dale

I have a 99 cummins that (won't pull poop) runs darn good , with a chip & bigger injectors. It won't pull the world at 80 mph that everyonelse has but I'll take 13.5 @ 65 with 15000 behind it anyday!!!
