Was hoping that all you Hillbillies made it home safely. I waited up until about 2:00AM for visitors with a dust mop but alas none appeared. I even broke out a can of Endust just in case. Oh, well...guess I'll have to make a better offer next time..Give my best to the cookie lady. Gotta stay on her good side....Spotter

Thanks to all the pullers who made it to Sugar Farm on the 28th. We ended up with 145 hooks which was a pretty full day. Sorry about the confusion with the registration in some of the classes, we had some new helpers that apparently did not understand all the procedures. A usual big Al and Kale did a fine job with the sled. Hope everyone had a good time and didn't have any major problems. Thanks to all who helped with the chores and thanks to the Real Confederate who did most of the announcing all day. congratulations to Sweeper who won the KOH class, lets see if he can do it again in October when we will be pulling heavier than the 5750. Hope to see all of you again the first weekend in October.

The scales were working fine when I weighed in for 4000 and 4500. Eddie Haskell told me that they were weighing heavy later in the day. I brought in two 4x8x3/8 sheets for the scales to sit on so they would not sink so I don't know what happened this time. Apparently this is the same problem we have had in the past. Do you know of similar problem with Al's scales at other pulls? I am planning to talk to Al about this this week, no one said anything to me during the pull. I wonder if the scales are becoming inaccurate as the tractor weights go up?

Where you are on the scales mean a lot.If everyone stopped in the same place on the scales right or wrong it would be fair for all pullers. Some have it figured out and place thier tractors where they are the lightest regardless of where the white line is to stop the back tires on.100 lbs can mean several feet if placed where needed.Email me anytime Lindley,Jack(TN).

Lindley, it was a great pull and a great time, anybody who missed it needs to be there in the fall. Beside visiting with everyone and meeting new people the homemade ice cream is worth the trip.

Again, great job.

I don't know of any way to haul scales and keep them accurate, as long as they weigh the same every time it don't matter. It was a great pull and I did enjoy my KOH win. Great job flywheelers.
