Well, I have the #,,, LOL. I got your email, and was thinking about whats up,,, vapor locking usually happens when the gas cap vent is plugged, and dont let the gravity flow go thru cause it back pressures the tank, when the needle n seat close, it can hold the fuel up in the tank, it can be both ways, either it can pressurize, or it can create a vacuum in the tank. The pressurized tank causes flooding, the vacuum pressure causes the fuel to be suspended, and when the needle n seat close, it can hold it shut till the tank releases the pressure, it starts, then it happens all over again. it could be heat creating this, or something is plugged up, like a vent, or the line has a inline pump. I got a 2 cyl twin briggs 18 hp, that has the pump on the carb, and ran by vaccum to operate the pump, that vapor locks to beat the bush, went through so many starters on it, cranking and cranking,,, till I bought a new fuel cap line, and replaced the diaphram in the pump. What are you working on? Ethanol wont help on vapor lock, even if that is whats going on, it still will pressurize, and stop flowing, is the tank outlet above the inlet of the carb? fuel pump? Chad
