I have 2 John Deere model A's, one is runningand I am fixing to get the other one running, and put the 14.9's that are on the other one and was wondering what size is a good tire size for pulling. 15.5's or try and get another pair of 14.9's. Thanks for any info.

On the late A with the slow first gear, I would go with the 14.9's, they are taller than the 15.5 and have a bigger footprint, especially if you are pulling on soft tracks. If you think U are not going to have enough HP to turn the taller tires than drop to the 15.5's, they are a little wider, but not as tall. It also depends on what gear you are going to pull in.. Good Luck

cd, i didnt have any hydralic problems, and i dont pull with much yet but im thinking about it, as soon as I get through rebuilding the engine. Then i might make a few pulls with it a year. But i have a 1952 JD A that i pull with now.
