Reading about the HD800 below I viewed a post regarding the HP rating. I am in the process of building one for pulling and have been told they anything from 150-300hp stock. Has anyone dynoed one to see what they really are?

we sold several hd800s most of them in vistas the best one had 275 horse and the worst was 240 hp . keep in mind these were bone stock with 4228 heads. with more comp and rpm hp will rise appreciably should be able to get 325 to 350 fairly easy.

There are several running in Northern Illinois. Used in MM G VI, MM 705 and MF 97. Fueled with LP or alcohol. Most are running carbs-One is fuel injected. They won't turn the RPMs of the small 6 cylinders but they build massive amounts of power in the 4000 RPM range.
