Is there a pull there this year? And if so could someone kindly post the classes and rules? And lastly is that GOON still incharge of the pull, the one who only wants to let new tires pull and has a complex towards road worn tires. Thinks everyone is as deceitful as he has been, when about 4 years ago at Marion, MI fair pull he had his tires out wide so they wouldn't fit on the scales so he could weigh 400# heavy until he got caught. He is the one that everyone should be double and triple checking. The sad part is that even thou he cheats, he still can't win. I think the guys name is GORDO. He seems to run off the real competition.

yes, it is this year, the new change is no tires over 15.5x 38's the first night. only road wear tires, and they are HARSH on them, if they even look partly questionable, they'll throw you out. gordy carmical(sp) needs to learn what road ware is...LOL...if he has to change the tires on that ol ford or oliver, well, i guess he will be strict then. I believe its a 1953 and older the first night, and the second night its back to any tire (non cut though) and any year. good pull, but i think he's gonna drive people away with his rock hard tire ideas.

Come to Barryton the same day August 6th. Nice track, good sled, lots of competition and fun. We can't compete with the state funded pull where everyone pulls for free, but it is a money pull with percentage pay back. Usually around 180 hooks.

What is the times for weigh in and pulling. What are the classes being pulled, along with tire sizes allowed and hitch dimensions. What is the name of the sled being used, and will the newer tractors be able to pull or is it just antique's. There seems to be a lot of people getting tired of all the knit pickin goin on up to Evart, if they keep going the way they are it ought to help make your pull a success.

Barryton pull has been going for 50 plus years. The last 2 years we have used the sled that Rich built for pulling in Remus (WATA) they call it "The Bandit". Very nice sled to pull, has Agritronics. Saturday is the farm stock, which means any year run what you bring, this includes cut tires. We do not even try to determine what is cut and not cut, causes too much arguing. We just want to have a good time. The track is dug and prepared, the only one better in the area would be Remus. The classes are 4- 3.2mph, 5- 3.2mph, 6- 3.2mph, 7- 3.2mph. The big classes go up in speed this is what I think but I would have to get some rules to be sure 8- 5mph, 9- 5mph, 11- 6mph, 13000- 6mph. 20" drawbar. Weigh-in starts @ 8am pull starts @ 11 or 12. Open scales, you can sign into a class until it starts. Percentage pay back.
