How was the Leslie pull? I could not make it. Fowler is next weekend and I will not miss it.

We had a real small turn out for the big tractors. They usually have a lot of hooks in the antique and classic classes. The division 3 classes have not had that many numbers. Up until last year they had division 4 and no division 3 at all. The turn out was small then too (Mostly non members) Hoping to get more pullers they went to division 3. I think that it just needs to be promoted more. You get a few people to show up with such low numbers and then they don't come back next time because there was so few to pull against. They've got a excellent sled and the track can be demanding but they widened it this spring and it wasn't in very good shape this time. Leslie pulls garden tractors on the same day and they got a very good turn out. How did I do? Well I was the only one in my class so I guess I did great. Along with the Deere, I brought my brother's MM "U" out for some exersize. I get it out of the barn about once a year. I took first place last year at the Barry County Fair in the 6000lb 6MPH class. The thing pulls great. He wants to sell it. I don't know if I'll be pulling this weekend. I've got some work that I need to get done. There's also a pull in Sparta on Saturday.

Well, then, maybe I'll go up there. Nothing beats a good northern ho(down). At least it is close stumbling distance back to Springs. I'll just curl up around that propane tank in the front yard. As long as that fag neighbor does not come near me..!!

Clintonia Pull too I think. Lots of things that weekend. Easy fella. They'll leave you alone. Decent neighbors.
