Does anyone know when the Barry Co. Fair and Pull at Hastings is and some details. I pulled there last year and had a good time.

Thanks LRN

Hi: We will start weighing at 8:00 AM and pull at 10:00 AM on July 23rd. The rules are available by using the BarryExpoCenter web site and click on antique tractors. Note that we have added a 6500# plus class to accomidate the tractors with 16.9 tires. You can now pull in 6000# plus and 6500# plus with 16.9 tires. Do you live on David Highway? Jerry Lehnert

Yes I actually live on the East end of David Hwy. which turns into Price road. I pull the "Iron Horse" tractors. I hope to make it over there it's a fun pull.

Thanks, LRN

Saturday 23 at 10:00 a.m. Not sure of the rules. Maybe Lakeshore Club? They have a website. Barry County Steam/Gas/Antique Machinery Association, Inc. has a show all week too. It is a fun pull.

I have a son inlaw that lives out your way, Steve Nash. The Barry Co. Steam, Gas will also have a pull using the County Line equiptment on Tuesday the 19th. of July. We will start pulling at 5:00 pm. and pull at 7:00pm. We have a farm stock pull first for the classic and truly stock tractors with no add on weights. That will be followed with a modified pull with the ability to add weights. In both cases we group the tractors into four classes so a 4500# tractor might pull against a smaller or larger tractor. We only allow a tractor to pull that is in the weekly Fair show. $5.00 a hook and its just for a good time for the evening. Praireville has a pull on the 16th.(Lakeshore Antique Tractor Club puts it on. They will start pulling at 11:00 or after. Lakeshore has a web page. Use the name above as their address
