Could you take parts out(rock shaft.... maybe Second gear?) What light weight parts could you exchange? Where can you get these parts? Thanks Adam

How light to you want to get.. and how heavy are U now??? Replace you rearend cover with an Aluminum cover.. Unstyled AL cover weighs about 28lbs... (if its a late G you will have to remount the seat.. or find a pan seat set-up.) ( I don't know where to get one, but look back a few pages, there was a thread about one, here.Got mine from a friend) Lose all of the air clean stuff. (use dry element) Change to smaller front tires and rims.. Get rid of the Roll-matic.. if or get split front pedistal.. find a lower front off a MT/430/420. (get the wheels too.. the center is a little bigger.. the other rims will work.. but the hubs have to ground on a little.. the pedistal will take some work to install. ) Lose the stock hitch frame, and build an adjust adjustable hitch. Pressed wheels on the back..
I looked at removing some of the gears inside.. but you just don't lose enough weight to make it worth the time.. or not having the gear.. I can easily get my G into the 5500lbs class with 18.4x38's... Just some ideas.... Good Luck
