Well, that wasnt bad last nite, Notice the crowd was at the other end of the track instead of at the begining? They should have moved the bleachers down farther!! LOL! We was getting some great distances on the track. I think the ol DC liked taking the sled for a long ride. Stopped the big moline in 1st gear on the sled in 45-55!! Havent seen that happen in a while! Did not throw one weight on the sled either. Now, Im not saying there wont be times where there wont be weights needed, but if the track is longer, and the time allows us, I dont see anything wrong with letting the tractor go farther, and not have to do much to stop them at the end. I also think a click or two back will help the shimmy upon pull back, Will let you guys tell us how you like it. Goshen will be interesting with the setup, I betcha I can set the sled up, to where it would be in low gear, and stop a 7500lb tractor with no weights on the sled, and still go a long ways down the track on that sand, and them not full pull the weight box, then if there is a pull off, shift gears. Ill talk to you more this weekend. tillthen, if its ok, same set up as last nite. Chad
