I would quit pulling before I would use Goodyear tires, but every track is different. So use what works in your conditions. Around here(Michigan) Goodyears are always behind Firestones.

Deep Treads are heavy sons of guns. Ine more lug than Field & Road of same size. I pull Goodyear Traction torques and love how they work when things get loose or there are holes. Otherwise, I would think that the worn deeptreads I have need to be tested on a power track. I might do MUCH better.

Definitely by all means the Firestones. I've seen about every cut possible put on the Goodyears and they still never seem to hook up as good as any of the other brands.

I have a set of 15.5-38 goodyear traction torque tires on my M and dont have any trouble getting them to hook, I run 9 pounds of air in them. I think the firestones are lighter than the goodyears so they might save you a few pounds
