Cool, thanks Champspa. I may just have to drag the "A" out of the garage and come up there for the day. You can't miss my rig, it is a black Dodge dually and a Black gooseneck with "DEER HLR" on the trailer plate.

July 29th at Berryville Va...all antique tractors and Sunday July 31 Fredricksburg Fair. Berryville is fun, they are strict with the rules, rpm's and original weights. Good competition and a tough sled to pull.

Looks like I was wrong about fredricksburg, a month ago they had a website which said the antique pull was on the 31st, checked it out the other nite and the site has been changed, the new site, fredfair.net lists a truck and tractor pull on friday nite the 29th, and an antique pull on the the 30th. I spoke to a person running the event on friday, Temple Brizedine, he is only doing friday..more high performance, crowd pleaser type pulling. Then I spoke to the fair reps and found out that they had an antique pull last year put changed the format for this year..no antique pull. End of story.

Is Fredericksburg any good? I haven't ever been there, and just wanted to see if it is worth the trip from Smithfield for the event.

I have always had a good time there, track is red clay, usually hard for the lighter classes but the6k,7k,8k,and up get a bite.
