Burns', your G looks exactly like I want mine to look. Especially the two slash-cut stacks - nice. I have a couple questions though. Is your air filter in the intake stack, or do you run without one? Second, do you have a phone number, address or web site for Steve Crum. I like the intake and exhaust set-up, doesn't look cheap though. Thanks in advance.

Steve Crum
RR1 Box61B
Athens, PA 1-800-736-6432

For filtering, I am running a K&N cone filter above the hood. I bought it from summit racing to fit down over the 3 1/2" pipe.

As for cost, yes the stainless is more expensive than your local muffler shop. But you are getting a non-rusting, uniform diameter from end to end. With one measurement given, Steve will make fit it right the first time. The 3" performance exhaust pipe is around $150 and the intake/exhaust stacks are between $80-$105 depending on length, size, and whether you want the double liner to prevent discoloration. The receipt for the intake pipe is at the in-laws but I think it was comparable with the exhaust pipe.

I decided to spend some extra $$$ so that I would have a close to orginial look as I could. Now I understand the pipes and weight brackets, etc.. will give the correct police a woody but the correct gauges, clutch head hardware, and proper decals were something I wanted to add for that extra look. Certainly the stainless is another cost that I wanted for looks but got an extra boost in function. Like a lot of other folks, I parted with a couple other toys to make this project work. Tried to part with the wife but that didn't work.

At 63hp I am competitive, like everyone you win some and you go home scratching your head wondering on others. (Unless your first name is Gary) Just funnin

Good luck
Burns
