Just remeber, the compression height on the H-350 is 2.5 inches. Larger bore pistons have to match up, or be within .250, and have a smaller wrist pin diameter than the original H rod. By using the smaller pin, you can offset the piston up or down in the wrist pin bore of the rod to set up the correct compression height that will allow you to get it set. Depending on your rules,, go find a SH-350 block, get the cam, and head, manifold and carb. That will take you out to 175ci, and if you find a good deal on a good block, its about the cost to have the H block set up for the 350 sleeves. H crank will swap out, as long as you use the H bearings with the H crank. That set up makes a H pretty snappy for a low gear puller, probably up to 5000lbs and still have some power. There just is not many pistons that can swap out for stock stroke H engines,,, unless you have them made, or you do get lucky, find a set, and they just mite be the last ones in captivity and no longer made. We are offsettting the wrist pins and remachine the piston to make a higher compression piston. But, we stop at 3-5/8 for stock stroke engines,,, add stroke, and there is alot of pistons that work great and have something a little more potent. Hope this helps,, email is open. ChadS
