Hey all. I need some help. Single stick 6 speed. Good HP.

Ok, so I went to a pull this weekend. I was pulling in 3rd gear and when it started pulling harder all the sudden the tractor just quit moving. The engine was still running. I looked down and the gear shift lever was right there in 3rd gear (Grandads used to pop out of 3rd but it would physically move the lever when plowing). I popped the clutch and put in 4th and drove off, dissapointed. My only thought is that the HI/LO kicked out, but how do I keep it from doing this, it really liked pulling in 3rd.

It could have been just your clutch slipping. Mike
