How are things in the green world nut? I have not been here in a while I was in MO this past week BBQ"ing at a fireworks convention and then I am going to Youngstown OH wednesday for another BBQ. I saw a pic of your tractor a while back and it looks god with the wide front. that is our next project along with adding all the alumnium. I have been busy with my new old house remodeling and work that the tractor gets neglected. the last pull I pulled was FLORESVILLE and we had a good time. Track turned out ok for the 41,46,and 51 . I was th only one in division 3 and I turned it loose in 4th and the tractor ran great and out the end. 46 and 51 were just a little short from the end but still great hooks. I was hoping Marcus would be there with his green but he wasnt. I think we woke the crowd up a little, it is nice to have a change of pace from teh slow every once in a while. We left around 5 because we had other engements that evening. I hope this south texas group takes off. I like pulling closer than 4-5 hours away, I can handle 2. I amnot going to be at our columbus pull. I am going dove hunting in Mexico that weekend but will be at hondo hopefully. the diesel has not progressed any. still where it has been, in pieces. hopefully next season, we did get a new drive shaft and a needle rear and our 4 disk came in a while back.maybe the next time we meet up at a pull by then our tractors will be finshed nut. since I am getting married my funds for parts is depleting and a 300+ inch motor for the H will only come if I win the lottery or stop deer hunting for a year or two.
Ben, congrats on the pulling results, the bug has bitten, PS our tire pressure that we ran was 4.5 lbs. plan on coming to columbus it is always a great pull on sept 10 weekend I think. like I said I wont be there but dad will get to drive all 3 classes.

I was glad to see you pulling at our 1st local pull. I think I did OK with 1st 2nd place with the 720LP in the 10600# and 11600#, 3rd with the G. This was the 1st time I pulled these tractors. Folks are still talking about the RED Farmall at the show, I think my next show will be in New Braunfels. Nice when the show is on 9 miles from the house,I drove all my tractors their except for the jd 50. I might show up in Hondo but only to watch. Later Ben.

All is good.. Tractor is still in a million pieces too.. waiting to get the block back.. and I have had other projects as well.. (No Tractor stuff.) I don't know what is coming together for the diesel class.. I know of a few.. but they have a long ways to go... I still have two Antique projects before anything else can be started... Yes, it has been nice with the new clubs this year... but it would be nice to have one or two blowout pulls where most of the clubs would get together... I guess there are at least 5 clubs in Tx that do a lot of pulling... So, when is the pull in NB??? I know I'll make the TATPA pull in West.. and Valley Mills... (Those are only a few miles for me..) not sure I'm going to make many of the others this year.. JDGnut
