Can anyone accurately tell me if a Super M transmission has faster gears than an M,or did some M"s have faster gears, and how could I tell by the serial #"s ? Thanks!

All the gears but first are faster in a SuperM, even reverse! Look for an 'X' after the serial number to tell if it has a factory original low gear set. It will be a 1.3 mph first gear, though most people think they are 1.6-1.75. The difference is the tire on the tractor. Tires today are a different size then tires from 50 years ago, even though they both may have 13.6x38 on them.
