I would like some opinion's on what the job of the board of director's is. My local club seem's to think there main job is physical work, such as setting up the sled and scales, then taking it all back down. I think it is fine if they want to do it but I don't think it is written any where showing that it is one of their duties. I would like to hear from you guys.

Yeah, it's sort of like church. There are a few people willing to work and a lot of the others just want to gripe about how those who do work just want to "run the show." If they'd get off there butts and do something, they probably wouldn't gripe as much.

Seems like a lot of clubs are that way. That must be an unwritten rule in every clubs by-laws. If someone has some good idea of how to get other club members motivated, let me know.

Its a problem in all clubs. The board is usually made up of people willing to work and a club is lucky if they have others that will volanteer.
