Does anybody know what there using for a gov on the rd501 and where I can find a intake for that motor? Thanks for any info

I am guessing you are looking for an original updraft intake. Try a heavy equipment boneyard. Rollers, graders, that kind of thing. They had updraft set ups. Stationary powerplants also had them. Can you do like the smaller series engines and invert a truck intake ?
