What other choices are there than a 7.5 Jerry Block for a pulling G??? My G currently has a 6 3/8 John Deere block. Thanks a bunch!!!

Rumor has it that Schooler has put together a JD-G that has a bore of 8".

Jack's Automotive in Hooper, NE can sleeve one for you. He got $1100 for an "A" block, and I'm guessing a "G" would be a little more if you go all the way to 7.500", or more :). It would be a lot cheaper than a Jerry's piece, but probably not quite as reliable, ie: water in oil, etc. but still a quality piece and for 3 grand savings and some patience any possible leaks can be fixed and you will be on your way.
