Saw the program, it sounded like you pulled in a higher gear(2nd) and ran out of power just a hair short of wheel spin. Is that how you pull now?

First of all, there really isn't anything that I could of done to be competitive. Being the only stock stroke tractor in the class certainly has its disadvantages.

But what ticks me off is they had a rule for a 10% hard throttle stop but it wasn't enforced (Like a dummy I followed the rules). Believe me a lot of the folks were pulling 20-30% over. Yes I ran short on power in 2nd gear @ 1000 rpm. No the tractor handles 2nd gear fine now after making some final adjustments. I had the tractor painted a couple days before the show and carb/distrib needed readjusted.

It certainly is impressive to watch a G pull 4th gear in 6500.

Oh well, nice people running the show. Did you know that the Expo Association donated $10,000 to the Red Cross after 9/11?

I don't know. I pulled at the NY Expo this past summer. Well I got a royal a$$ kickin is a better way to put it. I didn't have any business pulling the enhanced class but I couldn't stay for the other class. I checked www.rfd-tv.com but their program guide did not provide much detail for some of the listings. If someone has a copy I would be willing to reimburse them for a copy. Thanks

You can get just a quick glimpse of your G carrying the front at the end of your pull. Watch for the New York expo 2001. They repeat after a while. They say to go to rfd/tv for a program guide. Never tried it myself.
