This should give "Wife's Permission" something to talk about besides our "CLUB" hosting a NATPA winter pull. I think this is great and I wish you all the best with your first National Pull, it's not as intimidating as it seems at first. See you guys in January in Carthage.

Dear Patches, Wifes Permission was not the only one dissapointed in your pull. The hospitality was very good, but your choice of sleds was disapointing. Here in Michigan we are used to better sleds and being that your pull was NATPA sactioned, was expecting first rate sleds to hook to. Please don't be affended, you cannot please everyone. I just hope you will be using better sleds.

Offended, no I am not offended, but you need to remember that the sleds used in Carthage were the same sleds used in Wichita and I didn't see any complaints there, as a matter of fact those sleds had been used in Wichita for a coupla years.

Also, being there have been rule changes on the sleds this year, it changes the game.

My comment was directed to the comment made by Wife's Permission at the end of January that he did not think it was right that a club put on a pull. I still maintain, whats the difference if it's a club or an individual, I would rather see a club promote the pull and grow the sport than put the monies in a private persons pocket, I said it in February and I say it again.

There have to been complaints about the sled (blue truck sled) before your pull, that's why there was a sled committee in place to draft the rules for NATPA sleds. Would have been nice to see them in effect for this year. BTW, the blue truck sled is probably the worst sled I've just about ever seen used

Well guess what, it won't be there this year, we decided that last year after the pull, before the new rules were put in place.

The choice of sleds was not just disappointing, but bad. Hopefully, there will be a change made in that aspect of the pull.

If you read newsletter, sled rules do not start until AFTER this season. Due to high fuel costs, I know of several pullers boycotting ANY truck sled pulls, Wichita included!!!!

To answer the question YES on the points. Also if I dont place very well in Sandusky I am going to complain about something [track, sled, weather, hook # and the list goes on].Patches good luck with your pull this year hope it all goes well. Thanks to the sled commitee for taking the time and energy to setup some guildlines so that all NATPA events will have sleds that are fair to all.

Okay, now that that's out of the way.

We are running 2 tracks. The sleds will be the Thumb Eliminator and one of the Nearpass sleds.

Sandusky is definitely convenient as the fairgrounds are right in town, too. Next best bet would be Imlay City. After that, Saginaw, or if you're bringing the family Frankenmuth is a great place to go.

The Sandusky ones ought to be filling up pretty quick though, so don't wait.
