Hello,

On my 1066 I have a factory clutch wich is rebuild witch bigger frictionpads and 3 more springs, but when I drive in 4th high(with nothing to pull behind it) whith f.e. 1300 rpm and go full trottle its slips when the turbo comes in. TA is already removed. whith about 210 hp on the dyno.

Is it possible to mount a 2 disc clutch without loosing my PTO?

Or does someone knows a single disc clutch wich can take around 250 hp

Most of the time I use the tractor for pulling, but some times do some transport work or field work.

Tanks,

Maurice

I have a friend that got a heavy duty clutch kit for his 10 that he farms and pulls. He tells me that he farms with it at 190 horse all day long and it's at about 250-275 pulling. This tractor runs very well.

The name of the place he got his clutch from was Hy Capacity. Their web is: www.hy-capacity.com

Hope this helps!

I will tell you the samething as I told a guy on here a couple of weeks ago with a 1206. Go and get a single furamic disc. Mine is running around 400 horse pulling high third and I don't have any problem. It is a hell of a clutch for brush pulling. The hotter it gets the harder it bites. It eats on the flywheel pretty hard though. But who cares its fun!!!

I don't know where it came from or what the brand is. I would call a popular pulling outfit that sells clutches and just ask for a single furamic disc. And yes it just replaces the stock disc. It will easily handle 200 hp just fine with a good presure plate.
