I am planning on taking our 1900 oliver to a pull tomorrow night, and think it might stand a few more rpm"s Is there any one that has experience with how high you can rev these 2 strokes? I have it set at 3k now and am a bit leary of going higher, but realy dont know what the limit is?

They will turn more but 3000 is plenty with a stock cast flywheel.Have fun.

If you don't have a steel flywheel and scatter blanket I wouldn't go over what your running. Are you willing to risk a law-suit if something explodes just for a few rpms?

Origional or updated cam follower and valve springs? Low or high lift cam? Two or four valve head? Is the flywheel and pressure plate etc in perfect condition without cracks?

I've run 3400 while pulling w/no problems.

Cranking the rpms from 1900 to 3400 increases the stress by 320%.
