Got my M governor torn down and I have some wear in the linkage and bearings. The weights look pretty good. Could somebody tell me what parts the Thompson Rocket governor includes? My housing from the governor to the carb, [the aluminum tube] is worn badly. Does it come with the kit? I figure the rod to the carb has to be different to utilize the uniball linkage. Does the lower connecting rod have the uniball linkage too? I'd appreciate hearing from somebody who's installed this kit before I lay out that much cash. Sounds kinda pricey for a couple pieces of linkage, a carrier and weights. Any opinions pro or con much appreciated.

yes the kit comes with the shaft and tube to the carb. and both ends of the governor connecting rod have the uniball ends. i bought one from the fellow in pennsylvania that makes them about five years ago for about $240, how much are they now? it is a good way to go if you can't find an old m&w governor.
