PULLING IN FARM-FIELD STOCK CLASS !
QUESTION ? IF I MOVE THE DRAW BAR ASSEMBLY CLOSER TO THE REAR AXLE HOUSING, WILL THAT SHIFT MORE WEIGHT TO THE FRONT OF THE TRACTOR ?WRITE NOW THERE IS ABOUT 2-1/4" FROM THE ATTACHMENT TO THE BACK OF THE AXLE HOUSING ! THAT'S THE STOCK CONFIGURATION !!! RULES STATE MY HOOKING POINT MUST BE 28" FROM THE CENTER OF AXLE HOUSING TO THE HITCHING POINT !!! I WANT TO MOVE THE ENTIRE ASSEMBLY AHEAD ABOUT AN 1-1/2" ANY ADVISE !!

We run a stock M [60 hp.] We find that ours pulls best in the stock location. You have to be able to lift the front end if your going to get full traction. I don't think 1/-11/2" is going to make that much diff.

Well For one thing he's sure not stock. Is'nt it amazing how adding 15 to twenty horse power still makes you stock to some people .

Guess DC doesn't do any pulling, only showing. 60 hp. M would be considered stock in the div. 2 class. Div. 1 is for the "pure stock - show stock" class. They worry more about scratching the drawbar than real pulling. To each their own. That's why there are divs. in ant. pulling. Theres a place for everyone.

Other than milling the head, we worked on the gov. & carb. It's not bored or stroked. More time than money invested. If you don't believe me buy it. With the wheelie bars & wt.rack ready to pull div.2 $1400.00 would take it home. Tractor did well at the Dekalb Super Pull. Around here We're on the bottom side of the hp. chart.in our class. [N.E. Ind.]

Theres a picture of the Black M on the "pullsite.com" site. Look at the Dekalb super pull pictures # 74. Results are on the COATPA.COM site.{6500 div.-2] You can see from the picture I was about 75lbs. to heavy on the front.****hindsite = 100% ****
