i just put some domed pistons in the 450 and was wondering how to adjust the timing curve. i know that higher comp. engines want less timing so i should put stiffer springs in the distributer, but how stiff should they be?
bought a set of rims that had a set of 15.5 firestone 23 degree field and roads with 60% tread left. everyone from my area thinks that these tires are no good for pulling as they are shorter in height compared to 14.9's or 16.9's. i have no experience with 15.5's so i dont know if they are right or wrong. also they say that tires with 23 lugs are far superior to tires with 22. is there any difference there as well?
