450 farmall

have a 450 farmall to rebuild, she s been on fire from the gas tank back. the motor doesnt seem hurt and the no.1 plug still had part of the plug wire not burned off as well as the altenator. but from the tank back,toast all hyd levers and the dash are gone. dont want to scrap as it belonged to my grandfather. used to pull an a jd but had kids and so long pulling. any ideas where to start. have lots of parts to get rid of. also does anyone knbow about what the tractor will weigh. when i get it going i will be pulling in the northwest mo assn. in the 5200, 6200 classes if i can. thanks for any help you can give.

You can get a m famall lighter than you can get a 400.

I had a 400 farmall as light as 4600 pounds with a lot of work. 5200 lbs should be easy.
