I have pulled a 400 for several years with the 4 1/8" pistons (450), shaved head, otherwise STOCK. The TA is a huge advantage. It has to be an extreme power track for me to even come close to running out of power with 18.4X38 cut tires in the 8500# classes (in 1st gear with the TA back).

I had a 400 down to about 4600 lbs I like the sheet metal on those tractors. It pulled real good. I had 16.9/38 on it.
