A friend of mine has a old D-21 puller he's bringing back to life. Any sugestions?

don't know if the old 21 was a single charger or a super stock tractor, might give Allis Challenger a buzz, you should be able to contact him at his e-mail address, check the links page on pulloff.com; lots of folks are taking the tractors down in weight and running 6000 lb super stock with them in mid-south and the Indiana state pullers. They work good in classes where you can hold them to lower cubes. The block just won't hold up when you get close to 600. They can be pretty tough in hot farm, super farm, and light super stock like Art said.

I know he was talking about going to a " 466 " class. I think this is cubic inches. Isaw a class of this a Potosie Wi. All IH or john deere. It would be nice to see a allis compeat

Do you know what RPMs the 466 class will run? I've seen D-21s and Two-tens dominate in a 540 cube 3000-3500 RPM class. If done right he should run well at 466.
