I have read in the past about putting a 350(169) motor in a H. What all do you have to do to make the swap.

Hey Ben! Not to nit pick but the C169 is a 300 and a 350 is a C175. It will bolt in no problems. Use the H flywheel, clutch plate and presure plate. If those need replacing, order ones for a super H. They are bigger and stronger than those on an H. If you have the choice between a C169 and C175, get the one that is in better shape. Both blocks are essentially the same with the only difference being the size of the sleeves. You can put C175 sleeves in a C169 block. Also, an H crank will fit in either the C169 or C175 block. Just make sure you order bearings for an H crank. I put a C175 kit in a C169 block in my '51 H this spring. Feel free to e-mail me for more info or ask here.

Cheers!

Sid

how much of a benefit is there to the 350 motor.. and where do you get a full 350 motor easily? I am not going that route, but I am just wondering
