Does anyone know where I can get a manifold extrudahoned or acid ported? Mine is pretty restricted as stock and I think it will be hurting me on power. Also, how about a good, reliable place to have a carb modified for pulling. Even better, what exactly are these guys doing to modify these carbs. I cant believe its much. You can about count all the parts on one hand. I work in a machine shop so I can probably do it myself. Thanks to anyone who can help.

So how much are you being paid to say that? If you're just trying to start more b.s., give it up.
It's not worth anyones time.

If that's the Red Seal Continental, Motec just did one for me for a MH 30 with a 162 Red Seal.

Good work, very reasonable rates. Happy again with Motec.

How can I get hold of this Motec? Do you have a phone number or website for them?

Not familiar with that. You can remove an 88 oliver gas intake and take an 88 deisel intake, turn it upside down, find any agricultural carb,
bolt it on and make a world of differance. If you look hard enough you can find bigger intakes that will bolt right on and if you have the cubes and cam to handle it then it is real cheap power and is still legal by a lot of rules.

Otherwise to make any noticable differance you have to cut the runner in to and open the plenium
from both directions. Tapering the intake from large at the carb to something smaller at the head will speed the airflow up as it gets to the head. Then weld it back togather.

On the carbs for my ih's I generally clean up this inside and polish and I also increase the size of the venturi. They have made a difference on my tractors
